1. Acceptance

By accessing or using MEPTask (the "Service"), provided by Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Partners, LLC, doing business as MEP Partners ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of service

MEPTask is a task management service for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing contractors. It allows authorized users to submit, route, assign, and complete tasks tied to specific jobsites and lots, including via SMS.

3. Accounts and eligibility

To access the dashboard portion of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate, current, and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Promptly notify us of any unauthorized access
• Accept responsibility for activity that occurs under your account

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service in violation of any law or regulation
• Submit false, misleading, or harassing content
• Attempt to access accounts or data that don't belong to you
• Interfere with, disrupt, or attempt to reverse-engineer the Service
• Use the Service to send spam, malware, or otherwise harmful content

5. User-submitted content

You retain ownership of the content you submit (task descriptions, photos, etc.). By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive license to use, store, and display that content as necessary to operate the Service for you and the other parties involved in the relevant jobsite.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and represent that you have the rights to share it.

6. SMS / messaging

Use of SMS features is also governed by our SMS Terms. MEPTask text messages are recurring operational messages related to construction task intake, routing, assignment, status, escalation, and completion. Message frequency varies based on jobsite activity and the tasks you report or are assigned. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help and STOP to opt out at any time.

7. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

8. Intellectual property

The MEPTask name, logo, software, and design are the property of Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Partners, LLC. You may not copy, modify, or distribute them without written permission.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that risks harm to other users or the Service itself.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

MEPTask is a coordination tool. It does not replace professional judgment, on-site supervision, or the contractual obligations between builders, subcontractors, and customers.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability will not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose.

12. Changes to the Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated version with a new "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the new Terms.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Partners, LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
