The short version: We collect the info we need to run MEPTask — your name, phone number, account details, and the tasks/photos you submit. We use it to operate the service. We don't sell it. We don't share your mobile number or SMS content with third parties for marketing.

MEPTask is operated by Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Partners, LLC, doing business as MEP Partners ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use our service.

- Phone numbers used to send and receive SMS
- Task content: descriptions, notes, photos, and metadata

3. How we use information
- To operate MEPTask: routing tasks, sending notifications, displaying status to authorized users
- To respond to support requests
- To protect the Service against fraud, abuse, and security threats

4. SMS / mobile data
When you text a MEPTask jobsite number, we collect your phone number and the content of your message (including any photos attached). We use this information solely to create and route tasks, identify the sender, and send you task-related replies.
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS consent status, SMS opt-in data, or SMS content with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile information is shared only with service providers necessary to operate MEPTask and deliver messages, such as hosting and SMS delivery providers, and only under appropriate confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
5. Sharing of information
We share your information only with:
- Other authorized users on the same jobsite as needed to coordinate tasks (for example, your name and message visible to your supervisor)
- Service providers that help us operate MEPTask (hosting, SMS delivery, error monitoring) under confidentiality obligations
- Authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights and safety
6. Data retention
We retain account and task data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by emailing privacy@meppartnersap.com.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and secure cloud infrastructure. No system is 100% secure, but we take reasonable steps to minimize risk.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Delete your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
- Opt out of SMS messaging (reply STOP)

9. Children
MEPTask is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 18.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
