1. Program description
The MEPTask SMS service (the "Program") is provided by Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing Partners, LLC, doing business as MEP Partners, to facilitate operational construction task management at active jobsites. Messages are limited to task intake confirmations, trade supervisor notifications, technician or subcontractor assignment notifications, task status updates, completion notifications, and escalation notices.
MEPTask messages are operational and non-marketing. MEPTask does not use this SMS Program to send advertising, promotional offers, loan offers, age-gated content, or unrelated third-party messages.
2. How to opt in
End users consent to receive MEPTask SMS messages only through documented opt-in methods connected to an active jobsite or task. The opt-in methods are:
- Text initiation: A builder partner, supervisor, administrator, or project contact provides the user with the assigned MEPTask jobsite phone number and this SMS disclosure. The user opts in by sending START, YES, or a task-related text message to that assigned MEPTask jobsite number.
- Written employment or subcontractor onboarding: Employees and subcontractors may opt in by checking an optional, unchecked SMS consent box in an employment agreement, subcontractor agreement, onboarding form, or project access form that contains the SMS disclosure below.
- Web-based opt-in forms: Authorized jobsite contacts may opt in through a MEPTask or MEP Partners web form that collects the user's name, mobile number, company or role, and jobsite, and presents an optional, unchecked SMS consent checkbox with the SMS disclosure below.

By checking this box and/or sending a text message to a MEPTask jobsite number, I agree to receive recurring operational SMS/MMS messages from MEPTask and MEP Partners related to construction task intake, routing, assignment, status, escalation, and completion. Mobile opt-in data and consent are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
Consent is not obtained from purchased, rented, or third-party lead lists. Users must be the account holder or authorized user of the mobile number they provide.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on jobsite activity and the tasks you report, supervise, are assigned, or are otherwise involved in. You may receive messages when:
- A task you reported is created, assigned, updated, escalated, or marked complete
- A task is assigned to you or your trade team
- A supervisor or administrator sends an operational task notification
- You request information or help by texting a MEPTask jobsite number
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. MEPTask does not charge a fee for SMS/MMS messages, but your wireless carrier may charge you for sending and receiving messages depending on your plan. Contact your carrier for details.
5. How to opt out (STOP)
You can stop receiving messages at any time by replying STOP, STOPALL, QUIT, CANCEL, UNSUBSCRIBE, END, OPTOUT, or REVOKE to any MEPTask message. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message and will not receive further messages from that number unless you opt back in.
Opt-out confirmation: MEPTask: You have been unsubscribed and will receive no further messages from this number. Reply START to resubscribe.

7. Supported carriers
The Program is available on most major U.S. wireless carriers. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
8. Privacy
Your phone number, SMS consent status, and message content are handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile phone number, SMS consent status, SMS opt-in data, or SMS content with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these SMS Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the MEPTask app, this page, or another reasonable method before they take effect.
